- The role of data in supporting and monitoring implementation and outcomes;
- How policy makers, practitioners, managers and organizational leaders can actively plan for high-quality implementation and measurable outcomes.

In this workshop, participants can expect to learn:
- What resources and infrastructure are necessary for research evidence to guide policy and practice;
- What are the most important barriers and facilitators of effective implementation in the context of going to scale;
- How to engage leaders in organizational self-assessment to identify quick wins and “low-hanging fruit”, to prioritize organizational changes with the greatest potential return-on-investment;
- The importance of differentiating accountability from impact, and action from progress.
Finding and Using Research Evidence to Support Policymaking

- To raise their awareness about tools and resources available to policymakers and stakeholders in order to support their use of research evidence;
- To enhance their skills in acquiring, assessing, adapting and applying research evidence; and
- To identify what their own units/departments and their organizations as a whole can do to better support the use of research evidence in policymaking.
