Social Work, in the Melbourne School of Health Sciences, is a vibrant learning community. It seeks to influence professional practice through high-quality educational experiences for its students, the conduct of rigorous research, and the effective transfer of knowledge into practice.

We boast close-working relationships with a range of industry partners in health and community services; and we are well-known for clinical and professional research in health, mental health and child and family practice, both nationally and internationally.

The effective implementation of programs and services is becoming increasingly important for managers and administrators of human service organisations. Building implementation science as a key element in the delivery of services – particularly for children and families – is an important endeavor.

We are proud to join the growing community of Australasian implementation professionals as a co-host for the AIC in 2016.
