Cheryl Majka, Senior Advisor Implementation, Centre for Evidence and Implementation
This workshop introduces you to the field of implementation. It will focus on the practical application of implementation science, designed for practice and organizational leadership.
The workshop will use examples from the field of human services to highlight core components of implementation, from exploring and adopting service initiatives, creating enabling contexts for change, building skills, motivation and fidelity amongst practitioners, eliminating harmful or ineffective practices, making data useful and meaningful, utilizing effective training, supervision and coaching methods, working with program developers, and sustaining change.
The workshop will include examples from the field of implementation practice, and offer practical tools and resources to help you know where to start, how to plan and how to sustain programs that enable the uptake of evidence in practice and offer the best outcomes for service recipients.
Be prepared to talk about your own implementation challenges and successes!
Seating is limited. Tickets ($110) can be purchased via the conference registration.
